Bua Sports was formed on the 31st of July, 2005 at a meeting at Anne Aquilina Park. It was then named Bua Sanatan Sports, with the sole purpose of participating in the Australian Sanatan Sports - organised Sanatan tournament. At the Annual General Meeting of 20 November 2005, the Club became known as Bua Sports Incorporated and is now registered as such with Fair Trading.
After just three months of preparation it played its first tournament, where it was recognised as a future force to be reckoned with. It was really a surprise package as most had not expected it to do well, considering it had just entered the local soccer fraternity.
The team was invited to a number of other tournaments and soon became a regular feature at local tournaments. This encouraged the members to formalise the club.
The veterans of the club formed an Over-35 team and compete in the Blacktown Buffers Winter Competition. Bua Sports has also been participating in Volleyball Competitions where the ladies have proved to the leaders on the scoreboard.
From 2008, Bua Sports has actively participated in the Australian Fiji Soccer Association, AFSA, organised tournaments.
The Club boasts a membership of more than 40 families and encourages the participation of its female and junior members.
